Jason Osei Tutu Amofa is the Director of Operations at Zhest Consult. He is a creative, dynamic and motivated professional with loads of initiative and enthusiasm. A KNUST trained biochemist, he practiced as an environmental and development researcher with almost a decade of experience before making a foray into the terrains of business and organizational development, transaction advisory and negotiation. He studied Business Administration (Project Management Option) at the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership (GSGL) and later trained as a Project Management Professional (PMP) after taking a professional course with the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) in Securities Trading and Investment Advisory.
Jason has broad-based expertise in diverse fields which are supported by his varied academic background. From working on research consultancies for both local and world renowned entities such as The Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), Eleqtra (Infraco), Endeavor Mining, LANDac, Forestry Commission, Golden Star Bogoso/Prestea Ltd, Liberia Electricity Corporation, Vimetco Bauxite Ltd, Akroma Gold, Xtra Gold, among others, he also has extensive experience in the arena of corporate communication, business development and organizational setup. He has since facilitated and developed business to business (B2B), business to customer (B2C) and business to government (B2G) relationships for organizations including; the Canal Group (Real Estate, Investment Banking, Oil & Gas), The HANISA Group (Medical Supplies, Energy, Industrial Support, E-waste Management, Trade and Manufacturing,), Bejing Xiaocheng Ghana Company Limited (BXC), Millennium Excellence Awards Foundation, Vantage Real Estate, ACME Realty, Optimal Development Consult, etc.
Thriving in fast-paced environments, Jason is a prolific writer, trainer, researcher, concept developer, networker, and very much a ‘big picture’ strategic thinker. When not undertaking consultancy work, he is involved in social activism and support for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). He is currently the deputy chairman of Agricultural Sovereignty Ghana (ASG) and also provides both training and management support for other NGOs including; Rural Environmental Care Association (RECA); MISE Ghana (an educational foundation); and ExGLO (a rural pro-poor charity based in the Upper East Region of Ghana).
