Kate Nkansa-Dwamena is the Managing Director of Zhest Consult. Kate is originally from Ghana. However, she lived in South Africa for over 20years. She is a Graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg; where she honed her expertise in Economics and Business FINANCE. She also had further professional training at GIBS (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and GIMPA (Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration). At GIBS, Kate studied General Management, Accounting, Business Administration and Project Management. Upon her return to Ghana, she continued her professional build up by enrolling at GIMPA to study Masters in Development Management.
Previously, Kate worked as; a Change Manager in Massmart Group (Wal-Mart), a Banker at Absa Private Bank (both in South Africa), an Educationist in South Korea and a Credit Analyst at National INVESTMENT Bank(NIB) in Ghana. Kate has experience in Social Media Management, Business Development, Market Research, Communications and the running of Social and Political Campaigns. She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Feint and Margin – an online publication which provides young Africans a platform to tell their stories. She is also the immediate past Editor-in-Chief of Infoboxx Daily; an online publication and TV production Company.
Kate has had great exposure and is well traveled. Apart from South Africa and Ghana, she lived and had a number of professional and educational engagements in Asia and the UK as well. In her spare time, she is involved in social enterprise. She provides support and advice to young entrepreneurs in Ghana.
She brings with her innovative ideas and great strategic plans that are easy to implement. Kate is also the host of a national political radio show in Ghana called ‘The Analyst’ on Radio XYZ.
